Please note that these are second-hand SATA HDD drives. Purchase at your own risk, even though the seller offers a "1-year seller warranty." Personally, I would never store important files on these second-hand drives. I only use them for storing movies and TV shows that can be easily re-downloaded.

Get 2 and mirror it.
Get 3
Raid
Offsite backup
Backups implies its something you dont want to lose. I wouldnt risk a 2nd hand drive for that. If you just want to dump movies/etc on then probably fine for that.
Cool thanks
As long as you follow the 3-2-1 rule - 3 copies of your data, 2 different media types, and 1 copy off-site. Storing all your important files on a single drive is always very risky.
Also note that you have to pay for return shipping if drives are faulty or have bad sectors.
The question would be, how much?!
As these pulled disk most likely didn’t pass a test. There's been a few people here on ozbargain have to return the drives.
I think around $20 to the AU address.
To me it's faulty, they should reimburse or pay for return shipping.
That’s bad
Are the return shipping costs reimbursed if the fault is confirmed?
Not from what i read from others here
That seems like a lot for 6TB
?!? These are 14TB as noted in the title.
6Gb/s not 6TB capacity
Is this good for backings up data? Like photos videos
