It depends on the model. German made Bosch (series 5 for example) are better than LG but I'd rate LG higher than often cheaper non-german Bosch. Just my two cents.
Bosch as long as it was manufactured in Germany.
They both very good. I always had LG washers and never had a problem.
Having said that, I would go Bosch if German made, else LG all the way.
All LGs I looked at had silly "Steam Mode" built in. Waste of time and would chew up the power without any proof it cleans any better than a standard wash. Most my washes are cold so LG have ruled themselves out of my pick (coming from an LG that just dies avter 15 years).
My Bosch series 4 washing machine died on Thursday and was tossing up between this and a Westinghouse. Bought the Westinghouse which could be had for $688 with price beat and have been happy.
Having said that can’t go wrong with either

Thats not very good at all for a washing machine.
I bought a german made Bosch 9kg. 5 years later, now out of warranty, the idos is not working & I'm getting error codes.
I-DOS was your mistake, never get those versions and you'll be fine, get the model below top of the line but still german made.
