Original Coupon Deal

With all the interest in video doorbells lately, here's a great deal on the Reolink WiFi doorbell via eBay coupons. This is usually priced around $140 so this is a great deal for a refurbished product with warranty.

This product is widely reviewed as one of the best video doorbells in the business, and easily the best bang/buck deal out there. Fully local, no subscriptions, highly compatible with other systems via RSTP and ONVIF and comes with a wireless chime in the box. Note that the black version in this deal is the model with landscape picture format, not the portrait model that includes package detection.

This model does not have a battery, and requires power supply cables - if you have existing AC or DC doorbell wiring, it will probably work with this model.

    "Refurbished REOLINK Doorbell Camera"

    • I got 3 of their refurb cameras recently, they were all fine, like new.

  • +1

    Refurb in title.

    • Whoops - thanks for the reminder

  • What voltage does this need so I can test the existing wiring please?

Specs are shown on the product site: https://reolink.com/au/product/reolink-video-doorbell-wifi/

Off the top of my head it's 12-24v AC or DC but please confirm that for yourself.

    • 24DC

I disconnecting the existing doorbell power supply for mine and used the ancient wiring to connect it to Reolink's supplied plug pack. Working fine, no dropouts.

Reolink refurb stuff is as good as new, never had any issues with it.

      • +1 I have bought quite a bit of refurbished Reolink stuff and had zero dramas, looked and worked like brand new.

I have this exact model. If it helps, it can go as low as 18.5 VDC.

      • Thanks all, will crack out the multimeter and see what the existing one is putting out.

      • In my house there's a video door bell, with something looks like a corded phone in the living room which works as a chime/interncom. There's a transformer at the switchboard, but also an adapter next to that "phone" in the living room to power it. I guess those things are 20-30yo. Is that the normal setup? Can I easily replace that existing door bell with OP's?
        Thank you.

        • Most likely it will work. At least you have the necessary wiring to power the doorbell; it simplifies everything.

        • I had the same setup as you. What I did was removed the "telephone" and the old doorbell that's connected to it. Then, there were wires behind the telephone that needed to be joined to power to the spot where the old doorbell was. I suggest to use a multimeter to test for power before purchasing unless there's an appropriate return policy.

  • Decent doorbell for this price!
    I have one, works good
Once in a while might need to reset it because the connection gets lost but other than that does the job

Some refurbed doorbells belonging to people who already died usually resides in the door bell press after midnight with lights off and you will see shadowy figures at your door

Let's assume that was an attempt at creative writing, not a serious comment. I'll give you a '+' for effort.
