Last night and neighbour had their garage raided. According to another neighbours CCTV the thief arrived by e scooter around 2am, faffed around for while and tested the car in the driveway before operating a 'device', possibly a phone, and remote opened the garage door and stole two ebikes.
Not sure wether the thief had previously cloned the garage door, or knew what model the door controller was and worked it out from there.
It certainly seemed like a scoped out job, the thief didnt seem to be randomly accessing the property. Unfortunately the neighbour does often have the garage open and the bikes are visible from the street.
Anyone else had experience of garage access by a device that isn't a regular coded remote?
If you would have taken the time to google you would know that most garage doors don’t use a rolling code to open.
