I have one. I don't know about the floorboards question since I have tiles. But I hated mopping before, this makes it much easier, really just like using a stick vacuum. Mopping with steam dries quicker and because of the spinning discs, it helps get rid of marks on the floor with a lot less effort. It's been a good purchase and I really don't have any major complaints about it.
Do you miss not having a blaster. Just realized this is the old model without the blaster
Would be handy. But I can't say I miss something if I never had it to begin with haha
Also the new model has a removable bottle. How do you empty this one? So you have to tip it upside down and is it a hassle?
Yeh that's definitely a gripe. I have to hold it awkwardly over the laundry sink to drain it. Not convenient but I can still do it I guess. The cord is a bit annoying too. I have to hang it over my shoulder while I use it but otherwise it does the mopping job well and I am happy with my purchase
Looks like the newer version solves some of the functional problems so might be good to wait for that one to go on sale I reckon.
I have one and it is great on old timber floorboards. Key is to go slowly. It can do two to three rooms before a quick refill is required. Relatively quiet and quick to heat up at approximately half to one minute. The YouTube videos are accurate. Bonus is the price unless you can afford a robot vacuum and mop. 3rd party cleaning pads are available on Amazon and they can be easily cleaned in the washing machine.
I would but it again.
Side note: I've got one, and would 100% recommend them works very well with our high gloss tiles that are beyond a nightmare normally to keep clean.
I heard it eventually ruins/degrades/reduced the gloss on tiles, have you noticed any such thing?
The good guys have price matched. Those that have the 15% off code brings it down to $126.65
Has anyone got one of these? wondering if i can use these on engineered wooden floorboards and if it's worth getting one
