Memory City Folks: Dud or Real

Hi

Seeking some help. Purchased a Sandisk SDXC 64gb from Memory City (Francesca) and the card turned up in retail packaging with no instructions booklet. I also did not get any tax invoice or proof of purchase. Tried to contact them via Ozbargain messaging/ email/ through their web query but to no response.

I am flying out tomorrow for a holiday, should i return the product and just get one from the local retailer? I paid via Paypal so I can still do a dispute if needed.

Anyone provide any assistance or feedback on them?

    2. Potential warranty issue if its grey imports

    Pay for an advertised Sandisk product, problem might very well be that what I received is a fake. Don't want to end up paying for a LV bag, only to be offered a class A China fake LV. Pffftttt …

      Just perform a h2testw and you'll see whether it's fake or not.

      I also did not get any tax invoice or proof of purchase.

      Didn't you get an email when you bought it online? Or maybe it's on their website if you login?

        Ive ordered from them a stack of times, the invoice is in your account on the website, and comes via email as well.

        And they are genuine stock, comes in retail packaging and have confirmed via sandisk that it is an australian serial no.

    I registered posted the faulty card back to Memory City for a refund as they requested, they have had it for a week and no refund, no email. BE CAREFUL OF THIS STORE.

    I've bought from them without issue. Never crossed my mind that Sandisk supplied might be fake.
