"bluetooth glasses" - the kind of phrase you’d hear in a bad 2000s sci-fi movie

-AI/Camera glasses are also on sale https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0FPLSJWBG

    This was $219.99 with 40% coupon - $131.99

    Now $109.99.

Note: I purchased and tested only the camera, which was good for capturing life moments and MAYBE social media. But nothing more than that. Which I don't image people would be using it for anything else.

Oh yes, especially those life moments…..

Then why the research says that dont put phone close to your head while sleeping?

        • +1

Because its comfier to sleep on a pillow than on a phone

    • +6

No it will not. Bluetooth, WiFi, radio waves, microwaves, and the passive emissions from electronics are all non-isonising. This means they will not damage your cells or your brain.

What's more dangerous is ionising radiation, this means it can cause cancer and damage your body. You are exposed to this everyday, it's the Ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the Sun. This is why it's recommended to use suncreen to help stop this. It's also why at least 2 in 3 Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer in their lifetime, because our sun is much more powerful. It's also why sunscreen is recommended even on cloudy days, because it's the UV radiation that damages your skin, not the sunlight, and UV radiation goes through clouds.

      • Thats informative. Thanks

      • 2/3 of australians?! jfc, i didn't know we were that bad, i should get ontop of sunscreen while i'm still young… cheers for writing this up
