TL:DR - AGL customers check your energy plans .
so recently i posted how my outlook/Hotmail Account Has Been Hacked Twice
i had a call from AGL this morning - ignored it, then googled the number which said "AGL helpdesk" ,
they left a voice mail saying they will call back
they called back.
the guy said that unusual activity had been detected on my account.
I didn't want to give my details because I am paranoid so I didn't confirm details
the guy said , yes no problem , just call AGL from the number on the website, and go from there.
I asked what sort of activitiy it was.
He said that a number of AGL accounts had been hacked, then the plans changed to "Bonus Netflix standard" plan. and then the Netflix account is sold.
I said cool. thanks
I then rang AGL from the number on the website, and they confirmed that my account had been hacked. some weird email adress was being used as the primary email address (because I couldn't log in to the account).
anyway. they changed my email to my new correct secure email address, and i could log in to my account.
and my plan had been changed to include Netflix bonus.
so I changed to the regular "saver" plan.
