Advanced Si02 hybrid technology you get hybrid ceramic protection that can actually wax your paint as you rinse off your car.

Pretty easy to use, cheapest it's been in a while according to camelx3. Probably can price beat at Supercheap Auto for a better deal. Doesn't last 6 months as they advertise but pretty cheap and easy to apply every 2~3 months.

  • On the topic of Meguiar's, does anyone know where to get their NXT 2.0 "Tech wax" for a reasonable price? On Ebay this is selling for $120 which is ridiculous considering I bought this for $36 back in 2018. Autobarn and Supercheap used to sell it years ago but don't anymore.

    Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax

So EV and ICE cars cannot use this?

    Will it damage the duco?

jv, just because you've made 130k comments and average over 20+ per day, doesn't mean you have to continue making comments at that rate

I use this every wash - highly recommend it

    • Why do you recommend it? what do you see the product do?

  • +2

Excellent product. A bottle will last for quite a long time.

  • Is this better or worse than that TurtleWax deal that pops up here and there?

    • +2

Two different products. Maguire’s is wash car, wet car, spray on, hose off. Turtle Wax is wash car, dry car, spray on wipe off. Maguires is the easier one to use.

    • Having used both, I prefer the Turtle Wax product. It’s more traditional (wax on, wax off) so needs a bit more elbow grease but it’s easier to control.
I didn’t like the overspray of the Meguiars onto my glass so I ended up using it below the window line and then applying a separate wax to the roof and bonnet.
You also need a high pressure washer to get the best from the Meguiars one. YMMV

You can apply the Meguiar one dry too which is my preferred method and does better than rinse method

  • Works great 👍

  • The turtle wax version is better. Always been a maguires fan, but turtle wax killing it at the moment. This one is while car is rinsed and wet, apply this.
