Redemption

The Coles Gift Card is redeemable at Coles Supermarkets and Coles Central stores nationwide.
Coles Gift Cards are not redeemable on Coles Online or at Coles Express or Liquorland.
Not redeemable for cash or payments of credit or store accounts.
Gift cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards.
This card will expire 4 years from the date of issue.

    3.5% off Coles GC at Macquarie and 4% at a few other places and the discount is instant off the price and not having to wait 5-6 days for the cash back money to be confirmed and redeemable and waiting even longer if your account has less than $10 to withdraw.

      Which other places? Signature rewards used to be 4 but is 2.5% now.

        Click her and scroll down to coles. There's four places that do 4%, four places that do 3% and Macquarie does 3.5%

          Great, Reward Gateway, Perkbox, Member Advantage, Aust Unity Wellplan - to answer my own question. Neither of these are available to me. Two are B2B and two are bonuses you get with private health insurance and similar, so not even something I could buy.

            @Musiclover: You could always open a Macquarie account? Just have it and transfer in when needed for a gift card. Macquarie gift card purchases come through instantly on the app as well so it’s very seamless.

              @JAF: Something worth considering if I lose the Signature rewards. But for just 0.5 and 1% extra off coles probably not worth it.

      I agree about MQ option available every day of a week. However, a credit card can't be used to purchase from MQ marketplace. Someone using CC for all expenses may find it inconvenient because of points, cashflow or even for expense tracking simplicity. Personally, I don't find anything below 5% to be attractive enough to bother.
