Gigabyte Windforce SFF cards

Gigabyte 9070 XT also at $1,039.20 - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/127072608644. Not ATL but lowest I can see at the moment.

Excludes Northern Territory, WA Remote

In the last deal a few people were looking for SFF 5070 ti's (I have been too), noticed these pop up.

Note of warning, these aren't the best cards. The Ventus is notoriously loud when the fans ramp up. Gigabyte had some leaky GPUs a few months ago too although supposedly fixed.

But for SFF 5070 ti it's a good price.

  • Great model for undervolting, can really reduce temps to reduce risk when bending that fan curve

  • +5

    Ventus: 303 X 121 X 49 mm
    WIndforce: 304 X 126 X 50 mm

    Ventus is slightly smaller.

I'm still going to wait for a sub $1200 SFF card.

HODLL for the 5070 ti SUPER rort

  • Wonder if now's a good time to buy these graphic cards. Given Black Friday is less than 2 months, maybe the price will be better at that point?

    • +2

no news on super benchmarks, nvidia having multiple incest b2b 'deals', seems like a income crunch for ai….and now trying to attract gamers again

    • Might happen, but last coupla years haven’t seen any good BF gpu deals really. Tend to be more flogging off of peripherals etc

  • All you need to know -> 5070 Ti has no problems with BF6.

    • +5

3060 series also has no problem at 1080p reaching 100fps, its a great optimised game.

      • Hell, I get great frames on my 1080 Ti in BF6!

  • Anyone know of any key differences between the msii shadow and ventus models? I understand they're both "cheaper" cards but has anyone read about one or the other having a better heatsink or build quality?

    • -5

Ventus 3X uses MSI's TORX Fan 5.0 and is a full-length, triple-fan card, often praised for lower temperatures but reported to be louder under load.

Windforce SFF leverages the WINDFORCE cooling system and Hawk fan in a compact form factor, which is suited for small form factor (SFF) PC builds and may run quieter depending on setup.

Both cards deliver nearly identical gaming and content creation performance, with small differences in clock speeds and pixel rates, which do not meaningfully impact real-world results

Looks like chatgpt and the wrong GPUs.
I was wanting to compare the ventus and shadow models both made by MSI.
I'll just search for some PCB and heatsink pics

    • +1

shadow has 3 heatpipes and ventus has 4.

      • looking at the 5080 shadow it appears to have 4
