  • What’s the max ram on this? How many slots available?

  • How heavy is it please?

    • It is about 1.22kg.

  • Seems good value for an i7?

    • +1

Is it a bargain or is it just normal market price for a second hand 4-5 year old laptop with 11th gen i7 and worn battery?

      • the main thing going for it is really the touch screen and the LTE which might be good for some people. For me I am just looking for something to stick under the tv so im giving this a miss.

        • Mate a $100 Optiplex should be good!

          • @Unbreakable: I think they figured that out, given their comment about why they're giving this one a miss.

On the other hand, this isn't a bad option for people who just need a basic laptop with a touchscreen to do basic laptop with a touchscreen things.

          • @Unbreakable: I'm holding out for one of those, B grade condition machines or something that has either spare pci-e or has TB3+ for cheap. I have an egpu behind the tv and plugging in my laptop for big screen gaming getting a bit annoying.

  • What is battery capacity like?

  • Just looking into some comparisons, this or the 5430 from the other day? Here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/928071

    • That one isn't a touchscreen.

    • The 5430's only advantage is more storage.
This 7420 has better CPU, touchscreen, LTE, lighter weight and cheaper price.

  • Damn thought this had a fingerprint reader but it doesn't appear to. Maybe it is in the power button
