1/2 Price Sabrini Punjabi Samosa 1.125kg $8 @ Coles

240

These samosas have been highly recommended by @ohgee. They are also cheaper than Haldiram's samosas.

Enjoy! Also to those who celebrate Diwali.

  • Punjabi Samosa Crispy Pastry Shell Stuffed with Spiced Potatoes and Peas.
  • Sikhs see food as a blessing. Some of their best food is served in the Gurdwaras as langar food - including the hearty Punjabi Samosa. Even the Gods would be pleased with this offering!

Where else would it be made?

I have had the paneer ones from this brand and they were pretty good. Hopefully these are too :)

Oh my many Gods! I miss those Paneer Tikka Samosas!

Might be time to learn how to make my own.

    Can confirm, these are delicious.

They also happen to be vegan.

  • These are better than some of the other brands that I have tried. Good price.

    • Agreed

  • Some of their best food is served in the Gurdwaras as langar food

    What does that mean?

    • In Sikhism, a langar is the community kitchen of a gurdwara, which serves meals to all free of charge, regardless of religion, caste, gender, economic status, or ethnicity. (Wikipedia)

        Fully Sikh bro

  • not sure if this exact one but recently tried frozen samosa and wasn't good. (ok reading some comments above now, I think I must have tried a terrible one)

the contents were basically blended all together (spices, mince meat, beans, potato, peas, whatever else goes inside) and what you ended up with is just mush when you bite into it. taste was all blended with a bit of spice. so mush with a bit of spice. would have tasted way better if the individual ingredients werent blended.

    • yeah, same and it was this brand but it had other stuffing. It was horrible!!

Just bought these yesterday. Sabrini FTW, much better than Haldiram's.
