    • The stacking of codes don't work anymore like the last deal.. sigh.

      • Depends what codes. You can add a 10% off code if chat gives you one.
        Got the s25u 512gb in my cart @ $1480

Not sure Ill pull the trigger though. Reading about pre-release deals makes me wonder if there will be a better deal for s26 models

  • Trying to weigh up if its worth spending the extra $500 for the S25Ultra over the Xiaomi 15 pro deal posted earlier this week….

I've got one, wife's got one. My personal recommendation is HODL.

You are something like 12 weeks away from the release of the S26 Ultra which based on usual pre-orders you'll probably pick it up for way less than this. I did with this one. Just my 2 cents.

You have convinced me to wait. Thank you stranger

    very happy with my S25 Ultra I picked up on preorder deal this January. essentially I went S22U -> S24U pre-order (skipped 23) -> S25U pre-order

both upgrades I broke even while doubling storage every time (128GB -> 256GB -> 512GB). first upgrade thanks to the free Galaxy Watch 6, and second upgrade because I didn't bother sending my phone in and traded in to alternative company for much better price.

not sure if I would be keen to upgrade to S26U whatever it looks like, S25U is absolutely perfect for me. performance is stellar, battery life doesn't disappoint, screen is awesome. previous models (S22U and S24U) each had its quirks (weak cameras, lousy performance, curved design, etc.), but S25U doesn't leave me wanting. plus titanium frame. plus I love the colors (went with Titanium Grey, although in real life it's more like light gold colour).

    • AU-Samsung OneUI…is it bloatware as per claim by some or mis-information? Thanks

      • even if it is, I've been on Samsung for so many years I don't even notice. if there's lots of software from Samsung, it doesn't get in the way.

  • Hoping they will upsize better on s26u. It's been same since ages

    Not a deal. Moving on…

  • Is $1,731 a good deal for the Galaxy S25 Ultra 1TB? I’ve heard that some pre-order offers are just as good or even better, but I’m not planning to trade in a device. I've also seen people mention that they selected the trade-in option, didn’t actually send in a device, and only got charged around $60—yet still kept the trade-in bonus. Does anyone know if doing that can cause problems with Samsung in the future, like affecting your ability to place orders, or even impacting your credit score?

    • but I’m not planning to trade in a device

If there are trade in bonuses, you can "trade in a cheap phone" on the list, but not actually send anything to them, then you just get charged a $60 admin fee and you still retain the trade in bonus.

I've not heard of anything regarding credit score changing or restrictions with purchases. There definitely are legitimate reasons that would prevent you from trading in your phone, it could go from a working state to a non working state, or you could have cracked the screen etc.

      • With this "trade in a cheap phone" on the list. When trading in a cheap phone, we receive an upfront discount on the device—let’s say $65. My question is: if we don’t actually send in the trade-in device, will they simply charge a $60 fee, or will they also deduct the $65 discount from the trade-in, resulting in a total charge of $125?

I understand that the trade-in bonus (which is probably around $400 at the time of pre-order) still applies regardless.

Honestly, the main reason I might hesitate to trade in my phone is that it’s still in working condition and the trade-in value offered is quite low. While the trade-in bonus helps increase the overall value, it seems like a better option to choose a cheaper phone from the list, not send it in, and just pay the $60 fee.

My only concern is whether doing this might impact future orders, cause any blacklisting, or affect my credit score.

Also what's your opinion on this $1,731 a good deal for the Galaxy S25 Ultra 1TB i think its more or less what we get during pre order sale or probably cheaper during pre-order with all the stacking.

        • My question is: if we don’t actually send in the trade-in device, will they simply charge a $60 fee, or will they also deduct the $65 discount from the trade-in, resulting in a total charge of $125?

yep that's correct, they will charge the admin fee + the trade in device fee. just select the cheapest one which should be $10 discount or something if you don't plan on trading something in. sorry my message wasn't clear in that.

i would wait for a bigger trade in bonus tbh, but that's just me.

I have the s25 ultra 1tb, it is great for me, really love the phone and feel of it. I believe I paid something similar in the preorder earlier in the year but it included buds 3 pros. If your current phone is working, I'd probably just wait a few months for the s26 preorders, they would definitely offer more promotions.

          • @pyramidpirl0: ok Thank you. The lowest i see in trade in is $65 what did you select for $10?

Also did you end up trading in your old device or just selected cheapest one i.e.$10 and paid $60 admin fee? Thank you

            • @NirajSS: might have changed since then, but I selected the galaxy s8 for $10, and yep, paid $10 + $60 admin fee.
