    I just got the dreaded email "Scoopon - Insufficient stock for order #4X8X4X1"

    And this is exactly why I reserved my vote, until now! I don't give negative votes very often but this (so-called) company deserve it grrr….

    Edit: this is the second strike recently, I also got rolled with their EatNow promo, not good enough! They offer something, get everyone excited and then pull the deal?

    Placed order about 10 mins after post here. First time order with Scoopon and got the email today as well. Never again as it was obviously just a email/data collection.

    Ordered and got the insufficient stock email also. I believe this was clear email harvesting by Scoopon they know how much just ozbargainers like a freebie and would have realised that they would need a bit of stock. They should have at least had a stock counter and closed the deal when it ran out.

    If anyone sends an e-mail complaint regarding the info-harvesting don't forget to send from the fake e-mail and remember the fake name you used.

    I've got these things before. The black felt bag it came in was nice. I think everywhere in the world sells these earrings with 75 to 100% off RRP.

      Why neg? It serves as a historical record. When people search for "Scoopon" in the future, they'll see this example of dubious practice. Now whether or not it sways anyone is another matter, but I've been thankful more times than I can remember to find this sort of digital "word-of-mouth".

    When I try to login, I can't even login with the login i created to check the deal - plus when I click 'forget password' send to my email address to reset password, I enter the password it says ' No registered user found with email address "[email protected]" yet I am getting Newsletters by them like 5 today from my email account??! WTF… worse company I have ever dealt with.

    Plus, in their 'newsletter spam' there is no unsubscribe link at all.

    Just received Out of stock email!!!, it doesnt make sense when I ordered they sent me an email stating that my order has been processed!!
    And now an email stating insufficient stock! it looks like this was a scam to get new users to register so that they can spam their email with more scam deals like this.
    Not your fault OP, as per their ad it was meant to cater its customers until they mark as out of stock. I think Scoopon should do something about it, just sending an email stating out of stock is not good enough…
