Can You “Buy” an iPhone Instore at JB Hi-Fi When It’s Not Currently in Stock?

I want to buy an iPhone 17 Pro from JB using discounted TCN gift cards. You can only use these cards in store.

The phones are not currently in stock anywhere in store. However you can buy them click and collect for collection in about a week, indicating that JB will shortly have them in stock.

Does anyone know whether I could go into a store now and “buy” a phone for later collection? Or, are there any other solutions to this challenge? A while ago you could exchange TCN cards for JB cards on the TCN website (and you CAN use JB cards on the JB site) however that swapping option is no longer available from TCN.

    too much risk holding onto TCN gc with the recent security breaches.

    I think Coles is selling Ultimate gc and that might be a better idea

    I'm not sure why you're asking us when JB has the most talkative sales team that will yap to you all the ways you can still get the item if it's not in stock
