Cadbury Screme Eggs - $0.29 - Hammond Park IGA - WA

170

It may be 268 days to Halloween 2013, but it's only been 95 days since Halloween 2012, and IGA Hammond Park have a bunch of Cadbury Screme Eggs to get rid of.

Reduced from $1.65 to 29c, don't be afraid to stock up on the sweet delights. For those that haven't tried them, they are like Cadbury Creme Eggs, just spookier.
They seemed to have about five boxes with 144 in each box, so plenty to go around.
You could even store them for next halloween, then when the kids get sick from your year old chocolate, they will dare not come back next year.

Also, for you vampires who need to shop once the sun has set, it looks like the IGA is now open till 11pm, just stay away from the garlic section.

+0.8 for the commentary, the other one could have been stay away from the steaks…

  • Nice to see that some stores are reducing them. Woolies just threw them in with their regular Cadbury Creme Egg stock, full price.

We should egg and toilet paper every Woolworths store on October 31st, that'll teach them!

They'll all be pretty much the same expiry as they're all manufactured around the same time. Also it's illegal to sell expired "food".

We've got them for 49c each at Woolworths Petrol. Some stores have stacks of them to get rid of because of stock over-allocations. Not that it's my job to care about any store other than my own ;)

      • Not necessary. Cabury make Easter eggs 11 out of 12 months a year. So on average the chocolate is 6 months old & possibly almost a year old.
While here's a chance all screme eggs are made at the same time & therefore have the same expiry, there's no guarantee.
Update: Sorry phunkyfeelone, didn't scroll down to see your comment, I'm pretty much repeating you :(

    • Check the BB on all Easter Eggs, they make them 10 months of the year and store them for next year.

Those in Tasmania can get cartons of 48 of these for $9.59 from Shiploads (20c per egg).

I read the whole description in Tim Noonan's voice for some strange reason. It seemed like something he'd say. It was also 10x cooler imagining that in my head (YouTube him if you don't know who he is)

  • I looked on You Tube, OMG … what a w@nk3r !
