May as well get 40g of pistachios and make yourself.
I think you comment lacks logic, totally different scenarios. You can make this in your kitchen, in minimal time with ingredients you mostly already have without any special qualifications and make it better and healthier. Same can't be said for a house.
exactly! quality is why. if i build it the roof will fall on my head, because its shite, same here but other way around
Yes its shite (canola oil). What makes a pistachio "premium* a pistachio is a pistachio.
19% is 3% more pistachio then the popular spread "Pistachio Papi"
You can definitely get a higher percentage by buying a fancier brand online but it will also have milk added where this one doesn't so it might depend on your preference.
never heard of that papi
Biggest used car salesman
The single most overrated trash people are buying into. Meanwhile, the gypo is laughing all the way to the bank.
Don't you just love getting rich off making people unhealthy.
Essentially the pistachio version of nutella.
Read the ingredients list knowing my mrs would slaughter me for bringing this home
I used this “deal” as inspiration to make my own, so for those reasons I’m out.
Thanks Mr Wonderful
how does it compare to the costco one?
The Pisti Pistachio Cream Spread sold at Costco has 45% pistachio
This has 19% and has a lot more sugar.
This one doesn't taste nice
Isn't this the usual price?
This is rubbish, it tastes like rancid oil
Farmer JO Smooth/Crunchy Pistachio Spread 200g $9.99 @ ALDI => $5 per 100g
Coles Pistachio Spread | 330g $12 => $3.64 per 100g
Speculating on the packaging, it looks like Pistachio Papi may be the producer of the Aldi product.
I didn't know pistachio spread was a thing until I saw Coles promoting it a week or so ago.
Nah Farmer Jo isn’t an Aldi specific brand. No idea about this one but their granola is quite tasty
Tasty = more added sugar
Pistachio's are the new avocado's! lol..
Plurals don't need apostrophes.
My head hurts when I read that sentence with apostrophes
I think it's due to the popularity of Dubai chocolate which has pistachio cream in the middle. It's also overpriced due to it's popularity at the moment.
This one has a rancid aftertaste, don't waste your money.
Why does this make me thing of someone who got piss in their moustache?
How does that happen?
On second thoughts, I don't think I wanna know.
Bought and tried today. No pos vote because I think it tastes iffy. I tried a few experiments and cutting this 1/3 with pure almond butter made a pretty tasty paste.
I took one teaspoon and the rest went in the bin. That rancid oil taste is just too much..
Mostly sugar and canola oil, which make up over 70% of the jar, with only 19% pistachio.
