Laptop Recommendations - Budget under $750

After a laptop for personal use on the go. I initially wanted something that can handle Lightroom or DXO Photo but I don't think that's possible in the price range, so I'll have to save the editing until I can access my gaming rig. Unless someone here can say otherwise.

ThinkPad seems to be what is suggested online, but little confused on which generation and what CPU I should be aiming for at the price range. I want 16GB at least.

  Highly likely not to get anything that will do that in the price range. You could if you extended your bduget to $1000, but even that could be a stretch.

  Probably something like this. Under $750 is going to struggle for gpu and ram needed to run the programs
