[OnePass] 50% Uber One 1 Year Membership $48 (from $96) via OnePass @ Uber Eats

310

Most probably targeted.

Saw Uber One promotion for $20 OnePass subscription but I'm not eligible since my Uber One has just expired. But today, I received email saying that I could renew my Uber One for 50% for 1 year subscription.

Not quite sure whether I will grab this since I'm not using much of the service, and not sure whether this one is good bargain, but I posted it anyway…

  • The only thing I used when I had this for 3 months was the cheap Hoyts cinema tickets…..

Honestly, not worth it. Deals on it have been pretty crap the last year or two.

Agreed and they also removed the Uber credit if your order was late. There is no real benefit to Uber one now.

Exactly! for 20% off deal, I personally go directly to the shop and buy and eat it there while the food is still warm.

And somehow I thought I got less amount of food when I ordered the one on deal :D

Pft. Have had uber one for over 2 years with zero cent paid. Thanks for all the OzB folks. Would not pay an extra cent to Uber.

I went to cancel a few months ago and it offered me the 12 months for $30, bait taken

    • Ha yeah, this is the only real 'bargain' - sign up for free/cheap 3 month plans, when you go to cancel it they'll offer you another 3 months for cheap and/or longer plans for cheap.. If you use the services a lot (food, travel whatever) it can be worth it sometimes!

      • I barely use it , I prob just make it back.. they hardly ever offer decent discounts anymore so I’d rather pick food up directly and save 30%

        • I generally agree, though there are definitely circumstances where say, on a Sunday, partner at work, I want something more than w/e meal at home.. But it's time to do house chores. I can basically clear most of the chores/tidy up while I wait for my lunch delivery so there's a time factor here too. But this is pretty much my primary scenario for uber eats for example.. Otherwise I barely use it. I did get the free doordash thing through amazon too for 2 years. I just jump between what's cheapest on the days I really don't wanna leave home!

  • I feel like OzBargainers can do better

uber one sucks! hardly any decent deals anymore!

  • What? Still paying for uber one?

  • remeber when they had 2 dollar deals

  • Some upcoming changes to Uber One

    >

Starting on 7 December 2025, we’re updating the Uber One Membership Programme to reflect recent changes in our services. Don’t worry, you’ll still enjoy your Uber One benefits—like $0 Delivery Fee on eligible orders, earn 5% Uber One credits on eligible Uber rides, and exclusive member offers.

    Here’s a quick look at what’s changing:
    • The minimum order needed to qualify for $0 Delivery Fee may now depend on factors such as time when you order and how far you are from the store. It may be higher or lower than what you currently see. You’ll see the minimum order required in app before placing your order.

    • Service Fee savings may vary more per order. You will see any applicable discount at checkout for being an Uber One member.

    • Additional fees may apply on certain orders which includes, if you place an order from a store outside the standard delivery area or during times of high demand.

    • Surge pricing on food lol
