Telstra and its 3rd Party Pre Paid??

Received this email

"Update to Pre-Paid service registration

You will now be limited to having a maximum of 35 Pre-Paid services registered under your name, regardless of how many accounts you hold. This limit applies across Telstra Pre-Paid, Boost Pre-Paid, and JB Hi-Fi Pre-Paid services."

What does this mean? Only this year - started to just buy the Prepiad thats 50% off at Coles etc alternating from Boost/Belong/JB/
And then canceling the service when the 28 days expired.
Does this mean that we can only do this 35x and then can not use any of the Telstra resellers?
Its no lost to me, but they the 3rd party resellers Boost/Belong/JB are the loosers in the long run….

How do you guys interpret this statement?

I don't read it like that at all, if you cancel your old service I don't think that would be included in the 35.

It's probably just a clause they've added for people who abuse or resell the service somehow.

The other clauses in the email were more concerning to me, it sounds like they're shrinkflating the third party services such as Boost.

They will need to tighten up then…

That's why they're going for a long run.

      • They are trying to give us the runs. The FAQ link from the email even suggests you take your phone to the toilet. Enshitiffcation at it’s finest.

    • Spanner water time.

  • It just refers to active services
