RSL's lineup walks all over this in 2025:

    https://rslspeakers.com/pages/landing-page-10e-au - $619
    https://rslspeakers.com/pages/landing-page-10smkii-au - $825 for their November sales

Skip this, especially at this price (ATL is $674). Same advice even against the 1000 Pro line-up.

    • These don't look like they support Bluetooth control?

I have a SVS SB-1000 Pro and the Bluetooth control is a game changer for me.

No, they only have some pretty basic rear controls (crossover, phase, volume), but the 10s MKII has 2-mode DSP switch, and is wireless capable for an extra $93.

You really shouldn't need to adjust anything other than DSP once it's setup.

        • I personally like to change different profiles between music and movies via the app. It's mainly just the subs volume I'm changing.

But I'm in the market for sub for my office so I'll do some more research on the RSL's.

          • @paulied84: The movies/music difference is pretty much the exact point of the DSP on the 10S MKII, and in terms of audio quality it sits notably above the SB1000 Pro.

LFE mode for sub-bass extension and intensity, off for something slightly more musical.

  • The sb3000 is an awesome sub. This ought to suit smaller rooms, budget set ups.

I got some floor standing speakers from this long running deal:

I ended up getting the QB12 sub as well, they're still $749.
I have no idea how they compare besides being $150 cheaper.

  • Would i notice any difference compare with my cheap dream hi fi 16" sub?
