    • +3

      I got 99 dollars and a tree ain't one.

    • i think this the last year for my bunnings tree from like 3 years ago black friday

      • +2

mine is good, only used 2 times

    • +6

      They actually don't say that.

    • +3

This is not what the reviews say at all

    • +2

Reviews do seem mixed, somehow this is a 5 star review - I purchased the item, but it does not match the photos. Even though it was on sale, the original price seems unbelievable considering the quality. I am very disappointed.

      • +3

Most of the bad reviews are regarding delivery. There's also two star reviews saying it's very good. Take it with a grain of salt. I'm certainly not saying this will be amazing (I purchased one), but I don't think you can read much into most of the reviews.

    • You need a deal for Spec Savers my friend.

  • Thanks OP, ordered Melbourne

    • How are you shipping it?

      • +1

i accidentally paid 10$ for shipping, could have just added a spoon set for free

  • Thanks OP, ordered in Sydney

If it's not Balsam Hill, I don't want it.

what’s the cheapest item to add tog at free delivery?

  • +1

Can't speak for the quality of this one, but we got a Jingle Jollys Tree from Temu with 50% cashback and were happy with the quality/price.

  • +2

not very promising according to the reviews

Nothing screams 'economic downturn' like Christmas trees on sale before Christmas :)

    • Probably $99 value at best and don't expect $249 quality. Even at $99 for tree, lights and ornaments the tree value would be around $70.

How is this one compare with Myer’s? I need a new tree. Thank you.

got this last year, great value. very happy with mine. cant wait to put mine up again. lights are meh but still great value

I've been wondering how it dismantles given the lighting is incorporated. Does it split apart in sections like other fake trees or do the branches just fold in?

      • the tree splits apart in 3 parts. the lights weave between the branches and they fold in with the lights. to be honest, the lights are basic, im tempted to remove them and add twinkly lights but its there if desired.

        • Thanks for your reply - very helpful.

  • Does anyone know the width of this tree? Can’t seem to find that.

    • I would guess 1.2m since image scale is about 1:19.

Can anyone comment on assembly? Mainly disassembly for storage, package size etc..
    Thanks.

  • anyone know a cheap good quality tree topper star?

    • +1

I 3D printed one for a friend, a Mario power star.
Just sayin'. Sky's the limit. :P

      • Oh that would be awesome!!

        • can help you out (I'm in Melb / plus post).
Anyway, no obligation, but food for thought.

Got the 6 foot tree at Aldi for $89, it's pretty good for the price considering there's 3 light modes including a multicoloured as well as warm white when this one only has one from the looks of it.

  • +1

More amazed to see David Jones has a decent price on anything. I haven't been in for over a decade now.

    • +2

They also have a $1199 Christmas tree if it helps reset your opinion on them

    • Being a Yorkshire fella, you’d be a notorious tight-ass. Am I right?
Strangely, the further north you go in the UK, the tighter the asses become.

  • Got this Jingle Jollys 2.4M Xmas Tree because it was around my budget. It's very well lit with good lighting modes, easy to build, foliage is a lil sparse but I have not spent the time to spruce it out properly :p
