  • once to get Amex cas back. I don't see a point of it

  • You can pay basically any bill on it - but you will pay an extra fee on top.

Not worth it in the long-term, but if you need to hit a minimum spend or something it can be ok.

  • You can pay almost anything through Sniip, but they have to verify the ABN etc of the entity you're paying: https://sniip.com/bsb-account-numbers/

  • Yeah I paid $6.50 of fees to get 5000 QF points https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/900189

Not worth it for regular use unless they run another promo

  • Sniip has offers for AMEX card-holders
    https://sniip.com/amex-offers/

Furthermore, if you do have an AMEX card-holder,
you may find the following offer in your account portal :

Spend $250 or more, get 1250 Bonus Membership Rewards Points
Save Offer to your eligible Card and spend $250 or more, in one or more transactions,
in-app only at Sniip by 30/11/2025 to get 1,250 Bonus Membership Rewards Points,
up to a maximum of 3 times.

These are processing fees associated with Sniip,
    https://sniip.com/terms-and-conditions/

    Card Type Processing Fee
    Bank Accounts 0.00%
    Debit cards 0.65%
    Amex 1.29%
    Diners 1.50%
    Visa/Mastercard 1.50%
    Visa/Mastercard International* 3.00%
    Prepaid cards 0.85%
    Crypto.com cards 0.85%

Interestingly, if I had used a MasterCard gift-card with PostBillPay, to pay Council rates, the card processing fee is 1% with PostBillPay for the MasterCard gift-cards (in spite of having PayPal also costing a 1% processing fee, through PostBillPay).

So, Sniip sounds comparable in that case.
