  • It's probably worth waiting for a deal on Roborock Qrevo MaxV right? Considering last price on that was only $30 more.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/931280

    • Better cleaning on this, better mapping/obstacle avoidance on that.

This works fine, I'd take the cleaning.

    • MaxV is older model (released 2 years back) with 7,000 pa suction, this is newer model with 12,000 pa suction - though some features in MAxV are more than this - I still opted for it previosly and happy.

You can get some idea from this thread - but the comment that Qrevo C has Dock 3 is wrong.

Bought one at JB a few months ago. Works great. Good cleaning performance. App works well. Probably misses a couple of little features other units have (auto detergent into the water tank, live camera, higher temp drying) but at the price it's hard to beat.

  • have to send my Qrevo C & station back to service centre due to water leaking into under dust box and under the station within less than 1 month, but service centre support team is helpful and response pretty quickly

    • oh - from where did you buy?

bought it from the good guy from last deal, luckily that was easy too, just drop off to the good guy and they take over, but it takes about 2 weeks to reach the repair centre from WA

Thanks! Almost bought from Costco/Roborock yesterday for $899, glad I waited.

  • Is there a cheaper vacuum only option with these features, similar suction and obstacle avoidance, or do I need to buy a unit like this and just remove the mop pads?

    • look into Roborock Q8 Max Plus, which is vacuum only.

If you go for something similar in deal, you don't need to remove the mops. It lift the mops 10mm while vacuuming.

  • Code isn't working on multiple browsers. Is there a trick to getting it to work?

    • When i was trying for posting the deal, it took couple of tries and website felt very slow. Did it work now?

  • Would anyone prefer to use wet and dry roborock f25 than this robot vacuum? Just cant decide which one i should get? I have two pets at home so will have lots of pet hairs

    • I don't know if you have carpet, but you can't really use the f25 on carpet. The roller on it wouldn't do a good enough job.

Most people buy a robot vacuum so they don't physically have to do the vacuuming or mopping as frequently. I would go this over the f25. Plus a decent stick vacuum for any harder to reach areas.

Very happy with mine from the JB Hi Fi deal

  • Is there a cheaper or Aliexpress equivalent? Looking at one preferably under $500 but it must have those dual mop heads like this one.

    • if you buy from Aliexpress, most likely it is CHINESE version. You cannot draw map without another "Chinese" router.

  • Is there a major difference between Qrevo L and Qrevo C? Qrevo L just sold for $679 last month at Costco.

    • Higher suction on this, and the zero tangle brush

      • Qrevo L has the same suction and has zero tangel brush too.

I think the only edge C has over L is warm air drying.. other than that, they seem to be exactly the same?

        • 12,000 for the C and 10,000 for the L no? Also the L has a single brush whereas the C has the split brush? I’m looking at the Roborock website for it, you can also use the compare tool

          • @BrokeCamel: Ahh yeah you are right.. but I dont think 10k vs 12k makes much of a difference for a normal home. Also the split brush seems gimmicky as it doesnt do anything better from what I have read. So technically the only real benefit is the warm air drying which could be useful in winters.

            • @Megatron: QRevo C has flexi arm mop whereas QRevo L doesn't. We went with the QRevo C. Worth the extra $ IMO

              • @thriftee: That is good to know.. I didnt know it had flexi mop too.. I thought that was special to the edge and curve models.

Does C also have hot water mop pad washing? Cant see it on the web so just checking?

                • +1

@Megatron: No, just normal mop washing unfortunately. Has warm air drying that you have noted above.

        • I hate how these robovac brands have so many models with such minor variations between each model. Makes it so hard to decide.

  • Tried chrome and edge on my mobile. Code not working. Any suggestions?
