Sangenic Nappy Disposal Starter Kit (6 Refill Cassette + Nappy Bin) $45 + $5 Shipping

80

A great space-saving and hygienic way of disposing of nappies, the Sangenic nappy disposal system seals each nappy in a multi-layered film, which provides a highly effective odour and germ barrier.

Most germs are killed on contact, and the film goes on fighting germs inside the tub. Each nappy is twisted in the film sausage-style for an extra-secure and compact seal, and the Easi-Push plunger pushes the wrapped nappy down into the tub for you. Up to 28 wrapped nappies can be hygienically stored in the tub once wrapped, saving you from multiple trips to the bin. Includes Tub and 6 cassettes.

  • Ummm… "Availability: Please contact your local store for stock availability"

So doesn't look like you can get it delivered.

    • Says in stock for me. Try again?

I'm still using the old model, but the tubs are compatible. May be good replacement.

      • Yeah it's been updated since the OP posted it. Earlier you weren't able to add it to your cart but they seem to have finally updated it.

Bought this before xmas for refills when they had the same special, cheaper than buying the refills. Though at this rate we are going to have a stack of the buckets left over…

  • A true Ozbargainer would line the bin with a plastic bag from the supermarket and sit the baby on the bin to save on refills.

  • How much longer does this packaging add to the already decades it takes for "disposable" nappies to degrade in landfill?

there has always been arguments (be it eco or time/personal reasons) between disposable and reusable nappies. i think such deals can do without high horse comments. i believe parents are adult enough to decide how they want to do with their lives without someone else butting in.

      just saying.

      • I also believe readers are adult enough - to decide on whether further ecological complication/degradation is really required.

If you read my comment, it was about the extra packaging - not the rights or wrongs of "disposable" nappies.
