    I registered and they gave me the voucher even before I posted my old laptop! It seems they don't bother to getting back the old one. The laptops they are offering in their acer store are at higher price then in the retails stores even considering the 120$ voucher. the voucher is useless to me now.

    Looked at their new touch ultrabook..

    Local price new = 1649
    Acer price refurbished = 1499 - 120

    And let's face it, it has to be a really ancient or broken laptop to not be worth $120 if you sold it privately. If it's like this across the board, then the discount is lame.

    Lastly, acer is not a premium brand and the RRP on this thing is broken too.

      Agree. You would expect the ACER factory outlet selling direct would be cheaper than other retail stores. As you have pointed out they can't even sell ex demo cheaper than what you can buy it for new elsewhere.

    Hahaha they wasted a call to my mobile asking if I had received the voucher after they got my junk for recycling. Obviously the takeup rate by suckers^Wcustomers was overwhelming. Not!
