Cheaper at The Good Guys for $635: http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/buyonline/Hewlett_Packard_Pavi…
You could also price match that Officeworks (They have the exact same model) and bring it down to $60?~

…and bring it down to $60?

      Now that's a bargain.

      • I tried to avoid that from happening by adding the ~ at the end, didn't seem to work :D

        • to and by. small words, big differences

        • I obviously wasn't typing by, what I meant was "Bring it down to ROUGHLY $600". I couldn't be bothered figuring out the last digit.
If you did the maths, 5% off $635 is roughly 30ish dollars.

        • I did do the maths but couldn't figure out how you got to $60. Would made more sense if you used x instead

it games like a boss, i bought it during boxing day sales for 685 at good guys.

    yep 768 x 1mp kills it.

  • "Only downside is 1366*768 screen res"

plus the windows 8 part (just my opinion) :)

    I wish they would introduce a $14.95 downgrade promotion….

    • screen resolution means shit all. you can have 1080p in a 1000" screen and itll have pixels the size of golf balls. its about pixels to screen size ratio (ppi)

  • So we may gauge similar using Expanded notation.

    SCREEN
    10.055" diagonal at 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution for _ 300 _ ppi—

Thus for a meaning. "1o8op" will fit with "1600 lines" just brilliantly; i.e. unlike explicitly the damage to detail which would occur using "768 lines" only.

Consider things acutely and you soon become aware 720p at 01 mega pixel, is about only useful in a smartphone type display. Then as our devices scale to notebook we find we eventually need 2-4MP. Again, to maintain decent ppi (density), which is rather an important thing.

  • Back to $798 now…
