  the "RRP $169.99" seems a bit bloated.

  They have dropped in price from $169.99 but that's still the Recommended Retail in Australia. We don't have the Madagascar software bundled with this console but do have the software for the console on the website under the LeapFrog Shop by Brand tab.

    I think you will find Amazon does not ship Leapfrog products to Australian addresses so you would need to use a forwarder, adds to the cost.

      yes they do. I bought leapfrog tag with books bundle for my girl last year and shipped directly to my home in VIC. And I just tried to order the Lepfrog explorer and they can accept my address. But they refused for Explorer GS and Leaptab.
