So, the battery in my wife's car has been dying for awhile.
This morning it failed us again and I thought I had better replace it. Went into my local Auto Pro and bought a replacement battery.
As the guy was fitting it I actually bothered to read the big signs they had up. Turns out they are having some big anniversary sale tomorrow only. 20% off storewide and some race car is going to be there… I was really tempted to say - 'well, I'll come back and buy the battery tomorrow', but then I thought of my wife stranded at work tonight with a flat battery. Damn, it was tempting but I thought I'd better do the righty by the missus.
Hope someone else can make use of the deal. Between this and the Repco deal last month I feel like a chump for paying full retail.
