If you are in the market for one of these. Seems like a good price. Don't own this camera but there are some good reviews.

    I wouldnt say it is only a bit better.
    It is good at high ISO, weather resistant built, better video.
    However, in the end. It is the photos that count.

    Having said that. If your existing dslr is still doing what you want it to, there is not need to buy a new one

  Not much saving.
  Value is ~$700, so it is ~$100 saving which is not something really special.

  Bought one of these in December and the best price I could get was $650 for the body only (price match from Teds).
  It is a significant upgrade over my Pentax k-m.

  ig you are really keen to get K-30 probably it is not a bad deal, otherwise I would wait (providing you did not get a K-r a few weeks ago at amazingly low pricelike ~$320).

        Well it states on their website 12 months Pentax warranty + 24 months Sigma warranty, so I take that as genuine Aussie stock…I hope.
