This is not an offical HDD. Can be found elsewhere cheaper.

        • may not be Einstein, but how the hell is $64 cheaper than $54 ?

and your link to DX (who ARENT LEGIT)

          Price:
          US$
          69.00

if you must ask the question if DX are legit or not then I pity you.

          for all you naysayers;

          http://slickdeals.net/f/3456190-Xbox-Slim-320-GB-Hard-drive-…

        • What are you on about. I did a quick look (reply 4 min after the post) and showed a genuine item for $10 more.

Obviously there is cheaper out there… This was clearly an example. HDDs are very common as everyone needs them.

I was clearly pointing out it is not a deal. I love how you pity me yet you have 2 deals posted, one half decent and your putting on a show. LOL.

        • Moots, he was right, you didn't reply with a post proving your case. Your posted an alternative, not something proving that the deal is bad y demonstrating a cheaper product from an equal source.

          Either way.

Just remember, if your going to use these HDD's, Microsoft will ban you if you plan online and they catch you with it. If it is an unoffical HDD as Moots is claiming, it is against the MS terms and if they do notice, they will ban you from online.

Also, Kmart and Target were selling offical 320GB Xbox 360 Slim HDD's with Lego Star Wars for about $54 just the other day. Both deals were posted on here as well.

  • I purchased the one from Target that comes with Lego Starwars 3 for under $60.
They had more in stock in Farifield.

  • Whew! Thought i did bad on the Target one from a few days ago

  • I've been on the look out for a good price on a 320gb drive (original for piece of mind) and they seem to be around the $95 mark - I did visit my local target but all sold out :(

For the time being I've put in a 32gb nano verbatim USB drive ($22) that doesn't protrude out the back at all, has a read rate of about 20mb per sec (write rate is an unfortunate 4mb per sec) and seems to work well and will suit me until there is a sale on the drives or the next microsoft update lets you use external 2.5" hard drives with all their capacity (wishful thinking on my part).

  • 320GB not 360GB.

  • Some Target stores still have the "official" 360gb Drive for $59.88 as mentioned here http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/90512 Grabbed one at North Lakes (QLD) on Sunday, they were on the counter with no price, used the self serve scanner and huzzah, $59.88.
