    I like Jamocha.

  • For the coffee snobs, How does this compare to the Bay Beans Premium Reserve?

    • Im no snob, but Baybeans premium reserve is pretty damn good. I'd put the manabeans PNG variety on par with it fwiw.

    • I finished my last lot of Manna beans last week (Jamocha) and bought some BayBeans Premium for a change. The Baybeans seemed to have a lot more flavour and richness. My wife commented it seemed a lot stronger. Some of the other Baybeans varieties are different.
I prefer to change beans every couple of Kg for a bit of variety. And tend to swap between Manna, Baybeans, and http://www.byronbeans.com.au/information/shop which is grown locally and organic with slightly less caffeine and http://cleanskincoffeeco.com.au/

  • Are any of these beans good for a pour over filter?

    • Should be ok, it all just depends on how you grind them.

    • These coffees should all be good for your pour over filter ;-)

Thanks guys, valued customers. Hope your having a nice weekend

  • I recently purchased the Tiger mountain one and 'lucky dip'. My lucky dip was Jamocha. It is nice, but I find that one a tad bitter (i'm using aeropress..). Just in case anyone is wondering. Aside from that, Manna beans is a great seller and opening up your 3kg prepaid satchel is awesome! Smell that aroma!

    • Hi 31mop, Usually Jamocha is quite smooth and shouldn't be bitter at all. Different coffee beans require slightly different grinds. If you are finding it to be slightly bitter then might I suggest grinding a little bit coarser as this may very well be the cause. If ground too fine then the extraction can cause slight bitterness. Thanks for your feedback :-)
