Damn, Synology DS413 is exactly what I was after.
I got excited and thought I will finally buy one until I read that last line.

    • +1

Unfortunately synology have just raised their prices across the board. We have not raised our prices yet but we will be very soon… If you are in the market for a Synology NAS they are not likely to get cheaper than the current prices. Once the current stock is gone most people are going to have to raise prices as well.

      • You drive a hard bargain, sold!

        • Thanks for the Plus!

        • One thing I noticed is that you ask to put business name in as well as personal name for a business delivery, but there was no option for a business name.

        • Easiest way is "business name attn: Person"

        • Too late now

        • +1

Just email us and we can update manually.

Could have sworn fitbit one was $98 the other day, now $108!

    • It was $108 back on the 27th of Feb so chances are it has been that price all along. It could well have dropped and gone back up since then though, hard to know for absolute certain.

Ah there you go, answer below.

    • It was $98 during our six hour sale on Friday.

      • Dam missed that sale .. took mine through the wash and want to replace it … might wait for the waterproof wristband now though.

        • +7

It is 98.18 after the 10% off. It is 18c more though so I can understand passing it up ;)

        • well its $98 more then nothing .. looking on some forums people have said they will replace them for free - even if its your own fault. I have submitted a ticket but last time it took 4 days for a response - so I am still waiting.

        • You don't say whether it's stuffed or not, if it's working and you're worried whether it will last after going through the wash - mine has been through twice and still works perfectly (3 months on). Plenty of cases of this.

Wish I could put my brain through the wash like that.

        • Oh no - its dead as, put it in a soak cycle, then forgot to hang it out till then next day then did a rinse cycle again since the clothes had been still all night … then found it at the bottom. Tried 2 days in rice as suggested before trying to power it up - dead.

        • +1

Just in case anyone else reads this, yep - I told them I got it wet it was my fault, and they offered to send me a free replacement. That is what makes a loyal customer. Definitely will be grabbing the waterproof wristband when it comes out now though. Having the One fall off my belt in the car (thought it was lost for a few days) and now washing it - clearly I need a more robust solution.

  • Btw, it appears asking for +ve votes (as per the email i just received) is against the rules

You should not ask your existing clients/customers to sign up on OzBargain to post positive reviews.

    • +3

We did not ask anyone to sign up to post positive reviews, we just linked to the deal and asked to take the time to plus the deal. A large percentage of our customer base are OZB members, we have found that when we put a link to OZB in our emails many people click that first rather than going directly to the site so that they can see what other people are saying presumably.

Happy for a mod to clarify that though.

      • Deal Posting Guidelines

Do not ask for users to vote for your deal.

        • +1

Thanks neil. Do you have an issue with us linking to OZB in our emails?

Also out of curiosity what rule did this line break?

"Feel free to post your best finds here."

        • Big picture. Users should vote positive if they think it's a good deal. We are continually dealing with fraudulent voting where companies ask their friends, family, employees to vote and comment on their deals. The community is unable to determine which deals are truely good deals vs. company promotion. Let the deal stand for itself own it's on merits.

Further specific issues should be discussed in TWAM.

        • Just started a thread.

For the record though we have never engaged in this sort of thing

"We are continually dealing with fraudulent voting where companies ask their friends, family, employees to vote and comment on their deals."

      • +1

You guys have a very good reputation here as it is, and people will vote on a good deal regardless.
Probably best just to link to the deal on OZB and leave it at that.

  • I am sure that I saw the Lexar 32GB 3.0 USB for $21 just last week. Now they are $23.

    • +6

That was during our 6 hour sale. But we have actually dropped the price back down to $21 again for this sale.

      • Thanks. Just bought 2 (and a Tuoro as well). Great deal.

      • Thanks. That was quick. Price down to $21 again.

        Any HP microservers without HDD's?

      • -1

Not fair! So it's 21 with 10% off? I bought it just a few days ago for $21.

        • It's $18.90 now. Do you recommend them? Hope so because I just purchased.

    • What are the write speeds like?

      • It is on the website:

        Read Speed Up to 45MB/s
        Write Speed Up to 20MB/s

    • Those are sold out now, 16 and 32GB.

  • +1

Thanks guys! picked up the Verbatim Micro USB Drive 2GB+free shipping for 90 cents :)

  • +2

Damn. I got excited thinking I could now get the Kindle Fire HD 32gb for $198 minus 10%. But you are now selling it for $238!

    • Rep, can we have the price dropped to 220$ at least to match up to $198 after the coupon please. Pretty Please :P

    • +3

Kindle fire was $198 during the 6 hour sale. We have had them at $248 for the last month, we only have 6 left and really wanted to just clear them out. Unfortunately we didn't sell any of them which I was pretty surprised about. More than happy to bring it back down to $220 if you promise to buy one! Keep in mind these still sell on Amazon for more than this!

    • Samsung 830's are EOL, so there's a 99.99% chance of not getting one. Not really sure why they're still on the site.

      • One can hope. I'm after a reliable drive and their Crucial M4 prices aren't really competitive, code or not.

    • No they are EOL, the page was taken down but the web gremlins have somehow published it again… Apologies for the hassle.

That said we are expecting pricing tomorrow on SSD's so we will hopefully have something to post in the afternoon.

  • -1

Wd Red 3tb is $199… even with 10%off at $179 shipped is still more expensive than some places? Are you sure the price is not wrong :)

    • +3

We are pretty amazing we know but there are 3k products on our site, we realistically can't be the cheapest on every one constantly, we do try our best though ;)

  • -7

Rep, what about those of us who bought the $21 lexar in good faith that was posted not even two days ago. Can we get 10% back seeing as how this deal was posted not two days after?

    • +3

Come on you want a $2 refund, seriously

      • -6

If it was even a week ago I'd have no problem, but that other deal was posted jbarely two days ago, item hasn't even been sent

        • +4

Are you sure you purchased during the 6 hour sale? I just check the +ve's and you are not listed ;)

Send us an email and we will work it out for you.

        • thanks rep, sent you an email. hope u can sort it out

  • Does the 10% coupon stack with other coupons? I have one yet to use.

    • Sorry coupons do not stack.

  • Just bought a 64G USB for $39 during the 6 hour sale and felt it was good price. Now it is $37.8 after 10% off.

  • Makes a Fender Jazz very tempting…. hahah.

Your pedal prices (and new expanded range) are also very impressive. Big ups flingshot.

Will be putting in an order for a pedal tonight. Just need to decide which one.

    • +1

We are still working on the update sorting system. It is kind of beta right now, but with almost 1000 pedals we needed something in place. It is going to get a lot better.

      • haha - yeah. If you're after something by sound it's a bit of a pain - but most people in the market will know the names of the pedals on their wishlist and search by name/brand anyway. Works for me!

      • Ordered the Fulltone Plimsoul - pricing is cheaper than MusiciansFriend with the 10% off, which is pretty damn impressive!

        • +1

I didn't think musician's friend shipped fulltone outside the US. I might be wrong though..

        • No you're absolutely correct. Unless it's liquidation stock / returned goods that they sell as "mint - used" they won't ship it o/s. That's the only way MF is a good deal from Aus.

      • Improved search results page would be good too. Need to see the price and an add to cart button from there.

        • Both great suggestions, we are actually rolling out a completely new site. Plan is for 1st of April, but we will see how we go. We are not the best with development deadlines…

  • Hi Rep
Is the ddr3 ram in the link below suitable for 2012 mac mini?
Or if anyone else has a link for a cheaper 2x4gb ram?
    Many Thanks

    http://flingshot.com.au/collections/clearance/products/4gb-d…

    • They are 1600Mhz so should be totally fine.

      • Thanks mate. Can you still confirm if the rams have the following -
        PC3-12800 DDR3
        Unbuffered
        Non-parity
        204-pin module
        1600 MHz

Can you also please confirm the brand as the title says assorted but the PIC is for Samsung.

        Thanks

        • They are assorted, mostly adata left, but some samsung.

    • No, that is super cheap.
      MSY is $30
      http://www.msy.com.au/product.jsp?productId=7328

      • MSY sells brand new OEM & non-OEM parts. Flingshot is known to strip machines for parts and then sell them separately. You can only be sure it's new from Flingshot if it's packaged, sealed goods.

        • Still flogging this dead horse… The information is listed on the page.

        • +4

You should know by now, OzBargainers can get better mileage from a dead horse than a French lasagne factory!!! ;)

  • man.. gave in on 32GB even knowing fingshot will get in some faster ones …o well just another usb to the collection.

  • Hi Rep,

Do you have any RAMAXEL 4Gb DDR3-1333MHz for laptop by any chance?

    • No unfortunately not, did you need that brand specifically?

      • Right, I need the one to match the ram in my thinkpad T420s to avoid compatibility issue.

        • I have a T420 with a standard RAM module and a Kingston RAM module; it's been a few months and no issues so far!

  • Two Thumbs Up - Great Deal Guys. Just purchased two Asus RT-AC66U.

  • Hi Rep,
Is the USB3 card reader any good? Currently using an el cheapo card reader and it only manages to read at 20mb/s when pulling files off my 45mb/s rated SanDisk SD card. Will this unit actually be able to read at full speed?
    Cheers

    • Honestly have not used it yet, but no complaints so far and we have sold a lot of them.

  • Hi Rep,

Do you got DDR3-667Mhz or DDR3-800Mhz?

    Cheers

  • Bought some more guitar strings. I'm a fan of your store now - very competitive prices and quick shipping.

  • +1

$274.50 seems like a pretty good deal for the HP N54L NAS

  • +2

I love these guys and their deals. They may not be cheapest one however their prices and deals are competitive. I like their warranty policy which is pretty straight forward in which they do not force us to deal with the manufacturer.

  • hmm.. I cannot see where to apply the discount code, prices all come up at full RRP not the advertised price? Am I not looking in the right place or is it not working?

    • when you pay by Paypal…add on the page after entering your Paypal account info(takes you back to sellers page…add coupon code 10StoreWide

  • thanks but I did go all the way through to login in to paypal and didn't see any place to enter it before committing to pay the higher price.

    • Just emailed you back, as per the checkout page you enter the coupon after that Paypal confirmation page.

      • cheers, yes got it going.. quite strange to commit to buy at the wrong price then apply discount later.. will be good when the new website is ready. thanks

  • Dyson DC44 for $430 including delivery. I've been looking out for one of these and am not in a rush, but waiting for a good price. Any opinions on whether it is worth waiting longer, or is this as good as you get (other than waiting for Black Friday in USA)?

    • Was $299 plus postage on Amazon for Thanksgiving. It will come around again if you are prepared to wait.

been looking up laptops and ultrabooks the entire night and just missed the deal. any chance you could extend it by 24 hours?
