      You wish

      • Not sure why you would downvote someone for making this joke?

  • ordered mine almost 3 weeks ago and was promised on FB that it will be delivered in about 15 days. so far nothing!!!

    • Please allow 10 - 20 working days for delivery from conclusion of the deal period. Deal is still on?

    • If/when they do come…would love to know how they feel in the hand.
I imagine they are gold leafed, so gold will wear off with use.

    • You should be receiving your cards shortly meoluoi75.
You can email [email protected] and we will provide you with tracking information for your order.

    • I'm in the same boat. I hope they eventually arrive.

      • It finally arrived. Bloody terrible packaging. Its got dings all around the base of the box :@
        I waisted my money.

        • Hows the quality of the cards ???

        • Well they aren't Queens Slipper but they aren't too bad. They stick a little but have a good look and feel. Definitely a novelty. The cards are plastic and seem thicker.

  • I didn't know that you could gold plate paper!

Gilding is not a new technique. In the Middle Ages they created illuminated manuscripts with gold. I'd guess that the gold would rub off of the cards in a short time, so this is a fun novelty deck.

  • Gold fingers ;)

Didn't you have this deal classified as "Sockpuppeting" last time?

    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/94711

I remember it clearly being posted on the 22/02/2013 at approx 5:30 PM.

  • So its real 999 gold?? Can i melt the gold of n make a necklace with this gold?? 52cards seems like lots of gold

    • lol there is almost no gold in it. Gold plating doesn't take a lot of gold to do.
In that deck of cards you'd be lucky to even get 0.01g of gold.

  • Probably only $1 worth of gold, wow my friends will be so impressed, high roller bling bling

  • At a quick glance it seems that these are about US$9.50 on Aliexpress with 'free' delivery.

    EDIT:
I think SENAUIRANTNE AMILA SENVIRTHNE HERATH SAMAJITH, the Sole Trader who registered this mydeal domain name, would be ordering from Alibaba or Aliexpress after collecting all the payments.

    Registrant ID: ABN 55601811912
    Eligibility Type: Sole Trader

    • You post things like this all the time.
Yes, as shocking as it may seem people order their products from a distributer and then sell the item/s for a profit.

Fair enough you found somewhere cheaper, post a link. But do you really have to go so far in depth when looking things up? Nothing illegal is going on and the name of the ABN registrant isn't needed, just someone making a buck from selling items.

      • as shocking as it may seem people order their products from a distributer and then sell the item/s for a profit.

My point was that I thought he would be ordering AFTER collecting payments. That he had no stock. Therefore the long wait for delivery.

        EDIT:

order their products from a distributer (sic)

Aliexpress and Alibaba are sites where one can buy from suppliers in China. They are not Australian distributors.

        2nd EDIT:

Here is the link. Not that hard to find. Yes you have to buy in lots of ten but there are lots of 2 for $38 and lots of 100 for $388. it's perfectly fine for people to sell stuff for profit but its not good when they post it as a bargain on ozbargain. Especially when they claim it's worth $89 when it is not even worth 1/10 that.

  • They were on Google offers a few weeks ago - I understand that it was probably a USA only deal, but they seem to be flooding the market at the moment, which usually means there is a heap of them out there and they will be about $3 free shipping soon!!! https://www.google.com/offers/ppo/SELF/BSB28WKDAY224FYK?gl=U…
