if not, it'll be useless after 1 yr
cutter strings can prob buy from bunnings. Battery you'd prob be screwed.

Battery is very light, I was expecting something heavier.

The cutter is 450mm.
The 5 positions are central and 2 either side of central, you cant angle it at 90deg to the handle but if you stand back and the handle is at a slight angle to the job you'll get your "flat top".
3m reach and I found the pole was a tiny bit hard to control because the D handle you attach to it moved around too much when hitting the thick stuff.
It is bloody long and it can be difficult to be precise when you are cutting the top of a bush up high.
You can also use it at a shorter length with out the extra centre pole which adds 900mm.
Had no issues cutting ~1/2" branches.
Overall its pretty good value imo, I wont use it everyday so I expect to have it for quite a while.
Cool on a Wednesday so I might not have to line up.
Shame you cant use the battery from one in the other.
