Laptop Memory - 2GB DDR3 1333/1066 RAM $8.20 at Dick Smith

140

Found this while searching for a replacement for my dead laptop memory.
Dick Smith 2GB DDR3 1333/1066MHz RAM
(Compatible with all PC & MAC DDR3 based computers. Suits DDR3 1333Mhz & DDR3 1066Mhz systems)
Seems pretty cheap to me.
Shipping to Sydney was $4.95 (for up to 5 pieces), or pick up in store.
Appears to have plenty of stock around the country.
Note: This is a Dick Smith clearance item - so I don't know how long they will last!

Also Note: Flingshot also have these for $6 each (incl. shipping) but they don't appear to be brand new???

  • Edited: didn't see your last 2 lines

Flingshot's one should be considered as brand new although not sure about the warranty procedure

  • Ebay $8.90 delivered.

Also it's worth considering RAM timings to be sure you're getting the correct ram for your system.

In regards to flingshot not 100% but don't they upgrade new systems, so I'm assuming these are from new systems.

  • has anyone used this? i feel like my laptop wont post with it in there :P.. than gain for 8 bucks its probably worth it just to see

    • If your laptop is fairly new and uses a CPU newer than Core 2 Duo series then most likely it is compatible.

  • I have a 2009 MacBook Pro unibody it currently has 2x2gig in it already. I want to swap these to 2x4gig? Can anyone provide a link for this type of ram?

  • Will it work in a 1st Gen Alu MacBook
