    Specs quite good for that price (300mHz and passive!). Does anyone know if the sound quality is acceptable for movies? I'm looking for a 50" plus (LCD with passive 3D) around the $700 mark or lower…

    Interesting thing about this TV, it cannot accept 1920x1080 through VGA, only through HDMI.

    That sucks.

    I hooked up my new LG TV temporarily to VGA while I bought a HDMI cable a year ago. The picture quality was so good I left it on VGA at 1920x1080.

      VGA can handle high bandwidth, it is just the conversion from digital to analogue and then back again when it reaches the screen is the bottleneck (afaik)

      Picked mine up in a Suzuki Alto and it just stuck out the back boot by about 15cm, so i think its safe to say with your back seats down, you will be fine!

      Why would you risk damaging the TV transporting it yourself? Unless you were in a hurry to obtain the TV.

    Bought this TV on Thursday, so far so good, dual play is awesome, and Bluray/Bluray 3D is absolutely brilliant!
    Comes with 4x 3D glasses and wireless adapter.

    Was tossing up between this and the Toshiba 47VL900A and can definitely say the Panasonic is definitely tops!

    If you're thinking about it, for this price you won't be disappointed!

    I was looking for a 3d tv, don't really care about smart tv function since you can easily connect a tablet. I like the hisense since it comes with 3 years replacement warranty, yet can't find any real information anywhere…

      not even close if you want to compare picture quality and motion processing….

      sure the warranty is better but ill take the 'pepsi challenge' of the panasonic v hisense any day and pick the panasonic..
