Need a new laptop that is reliable and isn't gonna turn to shit in a year.
Looking at core i5 or i7, 8GB RAM, and at least 640GB Hard drive (7200 rpm would be nice or an SSD would be even nicer if we can squeeze it into the budget, maybe a mechanical drive and a cache drive to keep cost down). Integrated HD4000 graphics is fine as games is not a big concern. 14 or 15" screen. HD resolution is not a big concern either. Thin and light would be nice, but can be full size or ultrabook, not too fussed on whether its bulky or not.
Any good deals around at the moment?
Something around $600 would be nice, but if there's something really good around 8-900 then let me know also.
