Nescafe Original 200g $1.95 Officeworks Clearance Online Only $5.95 Postage

70

Saw these listed in the Officeworks site under Clearance. They are Nescafe "Original" which from my understanding is what the rest of the world drinks. These ones are from Indonesia. We here in Australia get "Blend 43" apparently.

Think it is a good deal if you order a few (with the +$5.95 postage). I ordered 10 (+ 2 spare Logitech M100 mice for $5/each) on Sunday night, and arrived today (Monday afternoon), in Brisbane.

Update: Appears to be stock in Brisbane and Perth, no stock in Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne.
Update: Now listed as $1.95, down from original clearance price of $2.60.

Since when is this website up. Just saw this for first time today !
Is this the Aussie equivalent for camelcamelcamel.com ?

  • +1

    Foul tasting thick sludge.

  • Clearance + Online Only + Out of Stock = Deal Expired

    • I just added another 10 to cart, went through the paypal process, and all was fine. Cancelled on the final Officeworks screen.

It checks stock locally when you checkout. So Brisbane still has some.

  • expiry date?

    • Mine had expiry date of 14-March-2014

  • Great deal, OP. Still works in Perth. Just bought 27 jars with free delivery! What a bargain! It seems you cannot put any quantity in the cart but if you click 'checkout' just put the product code in and it works. Paid with paypal.

  • Isn't it like 4 dollars at Reject shop? Need to buy a few for the bargain factor.

  • Even though this is cheap, this coffee is not very nice.
I bought a jar at OW and tried it.

At home we have a Nescafe pod machine but because I like a big mug of coffee (5 to 6 per day) I make the pod coffee in a big mug but top it up with 2 teaspoons of Nescafe Gold freeze dried coffee and more hot water.

I thought I could substitute the Nescafe Gold with this stuff but it's not good enough. Nescafe Gold blows it away with better aroma and taste.

It you're used to low grade coffee then you won't notice it. I couldn't even drink one cup of this stuff.

    • I normally drink Woolworth's Homebrand coffee in my milk with sweetener, so this is a step up for me :)
