Now that vaya has switched to 4g and axed its 3g plans there are no more monthly cheap plans anymore like vaya and live connected $11/month plans

  • TPG would be the next best, though you still have 10 days to sign up to vaya.

    • Well in my case I would be looking for a 4G plan in case I do go 4G.

  • its a pain my wife goes off contract in june

  • i'll go the optus sim only plan
    I have $110/month bundle
if you sign up for $40 byo mobile plan
you get 25% discount on the phone/internet bundle which makes the plan only cost $12.50
cheapest 4G plan on the market
    Includes 1.5gb and $500 credit

Warning - Any 3G Flexi plan or 3G Unlimited plan ordered must be connected on or prior to 31st March 2013 for that 3G plan to be valid, any service not connected by the 31st March will be activated on an equivalent 4G Power Plan if activation request is submitted from 1st April 2013 onwards.

Vaya 3G plans are still available according to the above

    • No longer available on their website. Disappointed.

      • Weird…
When I posted that link there was a "Sign Up" button at the bottom of each column.

        • Can confirm that, as I signed up the missus with that link on Wednesday night. Received sim this morning, so can activate within the timeframe.

Ben from Vaya on Whirlpool says the the rate will be grandfathered for 2 years.

BTW thank you for posting it.

  • i find woolworths the best prepaid plan, due to its 45 day expiry it works out at $17.40 a month, beats TPG and live connected.

    • -1

      Where did you get $17.40 from- $29 take 10% EDR = $26.10???

      • .58 cents a day (45 Days)approx

      • It will probably work out $16.53 per month for most people, using the ing card aswell for an extra 5% off

        • Sorry, I still don't get it- it says $29 for 45 days (with EDR $26.10)- I don't have a ING card but where did you get 'It will probably work out $16.53 per month for most people' from??

        • well it com'es to $26.10 using the everyday rewards card, then as it is 45 day expiry (most plans are just 30 day expiry) so $26.10/1.5 to get the amount for 30 days comes to $17.40 which is just as cheap if not cheaper than some of the plans with live connected, vaya etc. as the included value is pretty good and enough for my usage. If you did have an ING card, the the $26.10 would become $26.10 x 0.95 = $24.80 (promotion with ING if you use paywave you get 5% back on purchases). Then converting that to a monthly plan $24.80/1.5 = $16.53. So that is what i am currently paying, however the ING promotion ends in june.

        • Get it now, Thanks mrhorseham!

  • +1
