Good to see "Chef's Range" join the run of the mill range where it belongs…

    • +1

I'm not sure if i can call the guy who makes my pizza a "Chef", a 10year old could spead sauce on dough and throw toppings on it. But at that price WHO CARES!?

  • +1

    Works at Vermont South, 3133

    Works in Taree, NSW 2430

  • Look good thanks

  • How big are these pizzas?

    • +3

      Smaller than youd like.

      • Smaller then a large normal round pizza?

        • about the same as pizza hut's large pizzas.

just tried the code Bentleigh VIC works but Caulfield DOES NOT.

        • Yes. About 10 or fifteen percent smaller I would think.

    • +2

      5 bux worth

    • +2

Very Small, not worth $10.95 (usual price) at all, tasted like a regular Dominos pizza with the sauce swirled on top.
      6 Slices.

      • +2

yeah 'chefs best' is a rip off. they are tiny and hardly any more topping than the regular pizza. rather just modify a regular supreme…

  • +1

Doesn't work for Gungahlin and Dickson ACT

  • +2

    Very filling actually

  • +6

In my opinion, the Chef's range are better value than the Value range because there are more toppings, albeit a smaller size. If you like cheap toppings mixed in with the odd gourmet throw in (eg camembert cheese, hoisin sauce duck, etc), then go for the Chef's range.

If you prefer more slices of pizza, then go for the traditional or value range.

    • +3

Agreed, I haven't tried the new range yet but I think I'll give it a go later. It's a little smaller but that just means I'll feel like less of a fatty when I finish the whole thing.

The Deli Vege & Camemberts I got last week were significantly less oily than the usual Dominos / Pizza Hut range. If this week's turn out the same, then I'm a fan.

        • I had one tonight - definitely less oily than the usual range. However, all the cream on it made it a weird cross between a pizza and a pavlova. I won't be eating it again.

  • Works for Kallangur (Queensland 4503) store.

  • Doesn't work for Thornleigh, Great White Hunter.

I can't see anything better than $7.50 Traditional to be accepted at my local.

  • time to try the chef's best pizzas :)

  • -1

They are smaller than normal large pizzas at dominoes, but they have like almost double the toppings you get on a regular.

  • Doesn't work at Lane Cove or Crows Nest but works at Willoughby. Tempted try one of their Cooks Specials :) but suspect I'll still be hungry afterwards.

    • Then buy 2

    • +1

Good thing I hesitated, 56125 works at Lane Cove and is cheaper.

  • +1

You got me back Dominoes, man Im weak :P

  • +2

Try 56125 for chef's best for $7 if the code above doesn't work for you.

    • Thanks eeples, this code works for Thornleigh NSW but only for Chef's Best (doesn't work on Traditional).

      • +3

        Value : 24825 $5.95
        Chefs: 56125 $7
        Traditional: 20723 $7.95

        • +1

OP did not work, these do, thanks

        • I swear they are deliberately not letting us get the $6 chefs for living in the north shore :/.
          Didn't work for 2073 PYMBLE.

    • Works at Fairy Meadow. Thanks.

Am I the only one who thinks the biggest failing of the chefs best pizzas is you can't choose your base?

    • Will probably come in time, but not now, stores too stressed training people to make the dough, plus would require new pans which have to be designed, produced and distributed. I dare say it will happen, but it can't happen at launch…

Cheesy crust probably wouldn't be hard, but doesn't really "go" with new pizzas.
Thin and crispy needs new pans, deep too..

  • my game changer measures 250 x 200 can someone work out surface area of this vs a traditional then work out the percentage loss

    • +1

      About 615cm^2 vs your 500cm^2

      • -3

Woah, 6.15m vs 5m? thats a huge amount of loss…..

        • cm^2 not m.

        • That's not how you convert square cm to square m

      • so thats about 19% less pizza, considering the amount of pizza dominos make each year, I bet there must be some very happy people in the boardroom today.

  • +4

    Its small, prefer traditional pizza

  • Not working at Dominos Nedlands/UWA :c

  • the value range was $4.95 on a tuesday, now they put the price up $6 so i stopped eating pizza every week

  • +1

Tried myself some Chef's range, would say it tastes like their normal pizzas, nothing special imo. Would still prefer a Traditional range pizzas over it. If you want a gourmet type pizza, try Crust Gourmet Pizzas, they are a bit expensive but I guarantee it tastes very good.

Game changer? More like LAME changer.

    • you forgot the match book for scale

    • wow you got way more toppings then my one…i feel ripped off

  • Working at Calamvale QLD

  • chef's best … tasted more like sacked apprentice's worst !!
    still probably worth $6 …

  • Doesn't work in Brushfoot Hammond Park WA

    • Read above and try these codes:

      Value : 24825 $5.95
      Chefs: 56125 $7
      Traditional: 20723 $7.95

I had the same happen to me, but these worked for me.

    • Unfortunately a lot of codes don't work at that store now days.. Quality sure dropped after the initial opening too didn't it.. (I'm assuming the opening is overlooked by someone higher up in the franchise)

  • not working northbridge wa. nevermind…i'll try the itty bitty sliders instead :p

  • Have not ordered. But looks like good price.
    Made the +s to 100.

  • Working at Epping, NSW.

  • Am I the only one that thinks Chef's Best tastes alright?

  • +1

Ok, have tried it at $7 and I'm underwhelmed. Had a chicken camembert. Didn't taste camembert anywhere. The supposedly premium ingredients don't taste premium. In terms of bulk, there's probably the same weight of toppings as the trad. But since I prefer thin crust which you cannot have with this and dislike the high joule stuff like the bacon and cream sauces, I prefer to stick with the vegie trad with a couple of topping changes like anchovies instead of mozzarella.

Summary: Not willing to pay full price for this in future. Maybe $6. Problem is they will probably jack up the prices of the round pizzas to drive customers to this range.

  • Works at Karawara, doesn't work at Bentley (WA)

  • Not a game changer for me. If that's the best the chef can do then I will be sticking to getting my pizzas from la sera in Vermont south. Not at all impressed with the chef's best I tried last night.
