The first one (YNAB) is a bit of a dud. It is not usable unless you buy the $60 PC software that it works with.

    • The PC version was on sale for $20 on Steam on the weekend.

I bought the iOS app at the same time. Should've waited….

      • Me too! Spent $5 bucks.

While it may not be for you if you don't use YNAB, it's hardly a dud. It's actually an excellent app, and supports the software very well.

      • Yes, dud was probably the wrong word. What I guess I meant was that it was a conditionally free app. That is, you need to have purchased the desktop software for it to be of use.

        • That's fair enough. It is true that the new app 'deal' is only of benefit to those who have (or plan to buy) the desktop software.

  • And beware that the majority of comments about Skee-ball are negative towards the developers for putting ads in the game even for the paid version.

I did download a couple out of the list above to try them. Thanks!

    Quell is a lovely game

    • apparently there's another version by the same developer called Quell reflect. I cant tell the differences from their descriptions

quell reflect is the sequel. from memory, there's a few added game mechanics.

both are definitely well worth it!

    • The description looks interesting. I'm going to try this too.

I recently bought YNAB through Steam, so this YNAB app deal was excellent for me. Thanks for sharing OP! :)

  • YNAB is also free on Android at the moment. A good idea to make it free as it is really an addon to the desktop client. Hopefully the people who paid for it get reimbursed.
