  I bought Dirt 3 brand new near its release. Played 9 races in only to find the next race to finish the second section is locked out, you had to buy the additional content to unlock races in the main story. $15 additional content to complete the second section fully.
  Absolute joke. Slap in the face for anyone that bought Dirt 3 when it first game out.

  Do not recommend it.

    While I agree that your experience is not a good one.

    DiRt 3 Complete Edition Includes:
    Includes over £20 of extra content!

    So this seems to imply that this Complete Edition would be the full game. Can anyone confirm this?

    Dirt 3 is an awesome rally game. The best so far. Showdown is a fun smash, bash & crash game expanding on the smash 'em up races in Grid. They are both a lot of fun.

      Ah thanks, didn't much like the smash races in Grid, so I guess no Showdown for me. Are the graphics on PS3 good for Dirt 3?

        The smash em cars in Grid had very poor handling and there was only a couple of tracks. Showdown has stacks of cars, stacks of tracks, some cool events & much better handling. It's a lot of fun smashing friends.

        I have an Xbox so can't comment on ps3 graphics, but Xbox graphics look great.
