Yes I know everyone uses online maps now however you could view these as a backup for your journey.

You can also get these are NRMA branches however not everyone lives close by to one and they usually charge for posting these out.

Hmm, I got them free about 3 yrs ago, when I was a member of NRMA and was going to WA. Very useful specially across the Nullabor.
