I did the same but the Aeroplan status in the app shows that I have lost gold status. Is it the same for you when you log into the app?

It says it is cancelled when I check on Samsung website. Looks like I will be making a call to find out what went wrong today.

The trade in status on the asurion portal is still active (even though the underlying order from Samsung is cancelled)...
