Viospeed on MSI GeForce RTX 5070 12GB Shadow 2X OC Graphics Card $757.71 Delivered @ Amazon UK via AU
i'd take the 5070 12gb at this price over a 16gb 5060 ti. DLSS will help a bit in reducing that vram usage.

you'll probably be OK with running a 5080 on a decent 650W tbh, especially with a power efficient cpu like the 7800x3d. Saying this as i…

one of my mates built a 9800X3D PC just last week and got 2 fried CPUs in a row. Buying locally was definitely worth it.
Would any Aussie retailer price match Amazon?

honestly, if it was me, i'd much rather buy a 5080, keep it for 3 years or so then upgrade to the next gen similar class model, keep that…

there is a difference, but not massive, akin to going from 120 to 165Hz. 240 to 480Hz on the other hand though, that is very noticeable

what exactly is the "oem" RTX 5090 from zotac? Is it just the 5090 solid?

It wouldn't be terrible. Still higher ppi than 27in 1080p @ 82PPI (which I found very noticeable) vs 32in 1440p @ 92PPI but not the best.
