Think most high end non-OLEDs will be VA because of the better contrast vs IPS. I don't have issues with the viewing angles on this TV.

I bought the 75" for $1725 two weeks ago and was told that future stock wasn't coming back til Jan - Feb.

Just go in with the receipt on your phone and say a mate got it for a good deal before. Try and grab the TV rep to make it easier.
