$10 wifi relay off eBay and homebridge for FTW. You can even get them with multiple relays if you have more then 1 door
Wifi 6 router and a network share is more convenient and faster. Use the “FE file explorer” app in the mix too.
It’s pretty good over wifi, if you want to be extra sure you can plug it in directly via usb.
