Yes it will support 'older' 4g bands... No Xiaomi phones have Band 28 I believe

Huawei have a few I think, most Chinese phones don't... In saying that I've been fine with my Nexus 5 which doesn't support that band…

Keep in mind these DO NOT support band 28 so you will not get 4GX on Telstra or Optus.
